IMPORTANT NOTES: #
- The policy number is the same as your insurance card number.
- OSHC is effective from the date the student is granted or extends a Subclass 500 Student Visa. If the student does not yet hold a student visa, the insurer will not provide coverage or accept claims under any circumstances.
- Students must have a valid visa to activate their account. Students under 16 years old can only use the electronic membership card (E-Card).
- If the student holds a dependent visa, they must be covered under the policy of the main visa holder.
- Students should keep their boarding passes (in English) when flying from home country and when leaving Australia, in case they need to request an OSHC refund.
- If a student has just applied for a student visa but is currently on a Bridging Visa and did not previously hold a student visa, they are not eligible to use OSHC. In this case, consider using Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC) instead.
- For any expected changes to your visa or other related matters, please contact Annalink’s partners for assistance as soon as possible.
